Course objectives
“Always begin with the end in mind”. We’re sure you’ve heard this quote from Dr Stephen Covey many times before, but what does it actually mean? Simply put, it means that it is important to begin each task with a clear vision of your desired direction and outcome.
Therefore, before we jump into to the theory of the Payment Gateway Essentials course, lets take a look at the course objectives, which you can use to guide and focus your learning throughout the course.
By the end of the course you will have a good understanding of:
-
The concept and history of mobile money.
-
How mobile money is accessed and who uses it.
-
The components that make up the Mobile Money ecosystem and how the different types of payments flow through them.
-
The iNSight product suite and how the Payment Gateway product comprises modules that enable the configuration of complex transaction flows.
-
How transaction flows are built in iNSight.
-
The important role our Payment Gateway plays in orchestrating mobile money transactions.
-
The advantages of the iNSight Payment Gateway.
-
The iNSight Payment Gateway technology stack and typical deployment architecture.
Flexing your mental muscles
Already you would have noticed that some of our lessons are video-based, while others are a mix of text and illustrations. By switching between the two, we are asking your brain to operate and absorb knowledge in different ways, which has been proven to improve your memory of the content.
Remember that your brain acts very much like a muscle – the more you train it, the more it grows. Athletes observe a similar principle of changing how they train their muscles to produce the best results. So if you find one format more challenging to consume than the other, and your feel your brain starting to tire, just try to remember that a muscle gets tired when you are training it in an effective way, and as a result it grows.
So embrace the mixed format content that lies ahead and congratulate yourself on taking the first step towards growing your mental muscles!
Ready, set, go!
So now that you know where we are going, you’re ready to get started. We hope you’ll enjoy the Course as much as we enjoyed creating it for you!
Good luck!
