You’ve officially become an iNSight Payment Gateway pro! What a wild ride, right? Now you’re equipped to unlock the power of mobile money for businesses across Africa.
What have we learnt?
So let’s do a quick recap on what we have learnt on this journey.
We started by introducing you to the world of mobile money and explored how our iNSight Payment Gateway enables it.
We then went behind the scenes and showed you how to install iNSight and upgrade some of the key applications including iNSight, Tomcat and Java. Once we were set up on the backend, we went over to the iNSight frontend and showed you how to navigate the application.
In the Basic Transaction Flows course, we introduced you to the concept of APIs and allowed you to set up your first API call. We then introduced you to our NetStream scenario and showed you how to set up your very first transaction flow.
Armed with this basic understanding of transaction flows on iNSight, we moved onto our advanced NetStream scenario. First, we showed you how to test the NetStream and CWP APIs on Insomnia before integrating them on iNSight. One of the key takeaways here was that iNSight allows you to build smaller, more manageable events (functional events) instead of having one large event for everything. This makes the system easier to maintain.
Once this configuration was complete, we went on to build the USSD user journey, which allows customers to interact with your system through USSD.
Finally we looked at EDRs and Reporting which offers valuable insights into transaction flow and allow you to identify potential issues and optimise your iNSight setup for better business performance.
You’ve mastered a ton of information, but we hope the biggest takeaway is the excitement of mobile money! iNSight is a powerful tool that helps Mobile Network Operators bring these life-changing services to millions of people across Africa. That’s pretty incredible, wouldn’t you say?
